Chairman and Group Managing Director
Brendan graduated with honours as an Electrical Engineer and began his career in the specialist area of Nuclear Electronic Measurement and Control Systems within the Tobacco Industry. His area of responsibility was mainland Europe, and his primary objective was to introduce advanced measurement methods which reduced waste and improved product quality.
Ian Walsh is Operations Director for Ventilux and is based in the company’s headquarters in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.
Ian started his career in the Financial Services working with Bank of Ireland in their Baggot Street headquarters. His 2-year tenure involved managing the Banks internal service providers and the telephony systems, where he gained valuable experience working in a fast paced international organisation.
Sales & Marketing Manager
Ryan Walsh is Sales & Marketing Manager for Ventilux and is based in the company’s headquarters in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.
Ryan joined Ventilux in 2009 and took a key role in the Service & Maintenance Team. This was an ideal opportunity to increase his product, company and market knowledge.
UK Managing Director
Barrie Walsh is Managing Director for Ventilux UK and is based in the company’s UK subsidiary in Merseyside.
He started his career in 1998 based in the company’s Dun Laoghaire headquarters. His remit was to gain a full functioning knowledge of all departments from the production floor through to service and export sales departments.
Ian Murphy is the R&D Manager for Ventilux Ltd and a recognised expert in power electronics.
His early career involved managerial roles within the military avionics industry. As a senior project engineer he supervised the design, construction and maintenance of military approved power supply systems on a number of sophisticated avionic platforms.
Major Projects Engineer
Neil Whittingham is the Major Projects Engineer for Ventilux; he began his early career working as a senior field service engineer for a major blue chip organisation operating in the leisure sector.
Neil joined Ventilux in 2000 as a commissioning engineer then was appointed the Service Manager and soon moved into his current position. His key responsibilities are working closely within the specification market to assist with innovative solutions for emergency Lighting within the major project sector.
