Brendan Walsh graduated with honors as an Electrical Engineer and began his career in the specialist area of Nuclear Electronic Measurement and Control Systems within the Tobacco Industry. His area of responsibility was mainland Europe, and his primary objective was to introduce advanced measurement methods which reduced waste and improved product quality.

Ian is Group Managing Director for Ventilux  and is based in the company’s headquarters in Bray, Ireland. Ian was appointed Managing Director in April 2019. With 18 years of experience in dynamic environments. Ian is focused on driving the business forward ensuring that Ventilux remain competitive and continue to offer leading products to meet market requirements.

Barrie Walsh is Managing Director for Ventilux UK and is based in the company’s UK subsidiary in Merseyside. With 15 years’ experience and a true understanding of how all company departments and sites operate Barrie is very much a key member of the Ventilux senior management and focuses on strategic company growth.
Ryan Walsh
Sales Director
Ryan Walsh is Sales Director for Ventilux and is based in the company’s headquarters in Bray, Ireland. Ryan holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Griffith College, Dublin and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from John Moore University, Liverpool. Prior to this he successfully achieved a diploma in Sports Management from the University College of Dublin.
Ian Murphy
R&D Manager
Ian is the R&D Manager for Ventilux Ltd and a recognised expert in power electronics. With over 24 years of experience in the power electronic industry, he is a true mentor to the engineering team as well as a significant contributor to the technical excellence of Ventilux. Ian is our main trainer in Ireland.
Neil Whittingham
UK Sales Manager
Neil is a Certified ICEL Engineer known to be an Emergency Lighting Specialist whose technical expertise has translated into securing some of the largest emergency lighting schemes in Europe. With over 14 years experience Neil is a seasoned presenter who regularly conducts seminars on the relevant standards and innovation of emergency lighting solutions within the built environment.
Jimmy McGrath
Production Manager
Through Jimmy’s 30-year career in Ventilux he has been trained and educated, both internally and externally, in all aspects of Production Processes and the Management of people and teams. He continues to keep all aspects of the Ventilux Production Department up to date with State-of-the-art equipment and a ‘LEAN’ philosophy instilled within the department.
Daniel Egan
Quality Manager
Since 2004, Dan has been primarily responsible for the retention of the ISO9001 Standard for Quality Management Systems, which VENTILUX first attained in 1993. Dan, however, is still very ‘hands on’, and is constantly involved in product development and improvement,
