Ian Murphy is the R&D Manager for Ventilux Ltd and a recognised expert in power electronics.
His early career involved managerial roles within the military avionics industry. As a senior project engineer, he supervised the design, construction and maintenance of military approved power supply systems on several sophisticated avionic platforms.
He started working for Ventilux in 1998, as an R&D Manager is responsible for all facets of engineering design, product development and manufacturing.
In additional to his strong technical know-how Ian has expertise in planning and design philosophies.
With over 24 years of experience in the power electronic industry, he is a true mentor to the engineering team as well as a significant contributor to the technical excellence of Ventilux.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Design, along with a diploma in Engineering Industrial Studies.
